 How did your blind date go? How is the man?

 

유머 감각이 뛰어나고 정말 재미있어.

 He has a good sense of humor and cracks me up.

 

그 사람과 진지하게 만나 볼 거야?

 Do you want to get serious with him?

 

글쎄, 근데 신경 쓰이는 게 있어.

 Well, but there's something getting on my nerves.

 

까다롭기는 도대체 뭐가 문제야?

 You're so picky. What on earth is the matter?

 

뭔가 서로 통하는 게 없더라고.

 There was no chemistry between us.

 

 

8-2 야식 먹고 싶어

집에 늦게 왔는데 뭐 먹고 싶음

집에 먹을 거 좀 있어?

 Is there anything to eat at home?

 

밤 9시가 넘었잖아. 아직 저녁 안 먹었어?

 It's past 9 p.m Haven't you had dinner yet?

 

오후 늦게 피자를 먹지 말았어야 했는데.

 I shouldn't have had pizza late in the afternoon.

 

어디 보자. 라면이라도 좀 먹을래?

 Let's see. Do you want some instant noodles?

 

그걸로 때워야겠다. 근데 유통 기한이 지났네.

 I can make do with it. But it has passed the expiraion date.

 

내가 편의점 가서 좀 사 올게.

 I'll go get some at the convenience store.

 

 

8-3 건망증 대장

자랑하다가 물건 잃어 버림

이런. 200달러를 날리게 생겼네.

 Oh, no. That's $200 down the drain.

 

뭐 잃어버리기라도 했어?

 Have you lost something or what?

 

휴게소에 선글라스를 두고 온 것 같아.

 I think i left my sunglasses in the rest area.

 

두고 왔다고? 농담하지 마.

 You left them behind? Stop pulling my leg.

 

확실해. 샅샅이 찾아봤어.

 I'm positive. I've searched high and low.

 

시도 때도 없이 자랑하더니

 You were showing them off all the time.
